DOX qualification

What DOX Qualification means.

DOX Qualification is a structured assessment of an opportunity's credibility, commercial substance, financial and investment readiness, management, legal and regulatory position, and supporting documentation.

What de-risking means at DOX.

For DOX, de-risking means reducing avoidable uncertainty before capital is deployed — establishing who and what is behind an opportunity, testing the information presented, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, improving investment readiness, and creating greater visibility for the investor.

The ladder

Five levels, from DOX Sourced to Investor Ready.

An opportunity holds at the level its evidence supports. Movement upward requires resolution, not time.

What qualification is not

DOX Qualified does not mean an investment is safe, guaranteed, or fully verified. It means the opportunity has satisfied the applicable requirements of a defined stage of the DOX Qualification Framework. Qualification does not replace an investor's legal, financial, technical, tax, or other professional due diligence.

Each level is assessed across some or all of the seven categories below.

Categories

Seven categories every assessment covers.

These categories are assessed at each level. Findings are documented and disclosed rather than resolved by omission.

  • Identity & Legitimacy

Who is behind this, are they real, and are they who they say they are.

  • Commercial Viability

Whether the business case holds up under examination.

  • Financial Readiness

Whether financial information exists, is consistent, and can be reviewed.

  • Investment Readiness

Whether the ask, structure and use of funds are coherent and fundable.

  • Management

Whether the people running it can execute the plan they are presenting.

  • Legal & Regulatory

Standing, licences, ownership and encumbrances in the operating jurisdiction.

  • Documentation

Whether the paper trail exists and can be traced to source.

Responsibility

Where DOX stops and diligence begins.

DOX prepares opportunities for serious review. Investors remain responsible for engaging their advisers, completing diligence and making their own decision at every stage.
